A single, elegant solution for a multitude of problems

Initially we were asked to 'fix storage space and service problems'. Ultimately, we re-engineered our client's entire storage and supply chain. This marketing supplies organisation was dealing with chaos:

• It was proving very difficult to maintain inventories, control wastage and keep accurate reports.
• Multiple, poorly managed storage facilities in 150 different locations were circulating redundant or even damaged materials.
• Goods materials were often shipping too late or to the wrong address.
• Key sales opportunities were being lost.
  

We were asked to identify a third party organisation to centrally manage and store materials. This organisation was also required to support a regional 'drop-box' system, by which representatives around the country would receive the timely supplies they require.
